Parks & Recreation

The Peach County Recreation Department establishes and oversees programs, activities, events and facilities for the enjoyment for residents of Fort Valley and all of Peach County.

Qualified recreation leisure professionals and facilities maintenance personnel work hard year round to meet the needs and expectations of Peach County's residents with diversified youth and adult programs and activities.

South Peach Park in Fort Valley provides an assortment of activities and facilities including picnic shelters, playgrounds, walking tracks, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, horse shoe pits, baseball/softball fields, football fields and soccer fields.

The park also has blueberries, pecans, and chestnuts for public picking and use. The park is also home to the Senior Citizens Center.

Youth athletics programs offered by the department include baseball/softball in the spring; football, soccer and cheerleading in the fall, and basketball in winter.
